And then there was two.

Flashback to Oct. 18, 2020, I’m scrolling through Facebook, I see a post from a friend and he has a litter of puppies that need a home.

*Queue the road trip music*

My wife and I drove 8 hours to pick up the biggest, gruntiest, silliest puppy in the bunch. In all the videos I requested, you can see all the puppies playing in a pile and after a few seconds in, the camera pans to this big dopey baby lunging towards the pile. Always playing and wrestling with her brothers and sisters. Always losing. She was the one.

When we brought Dahlia home, Jasmine took the motherly role, as she has before, and Dahlia stayed true to herself in the role of WWE Superstar. Jasmine had her hands FULL. Dahlia was constantly jumping, tugging and her favorite, sleeping on Jasmine. Dahlia gave no thought to size as she would try to get Jasmine to play with barks and lunges.

Dahlia will be four this year and is just as bumbly as ever. She is the happiest girl on the planet and the perfect addition to our little family.

And it all started with a picture.
